Sam's Club is hiring for Baker and Packager Associate

Do you enjoy helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? As a Bakery/Packager Associate, you’ll prepare fresh baked items daily by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. Your work ensures members have access to the freshest items for their families. You will manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while assisting members with bakery orders. This role is both challenging and rewarding as part of a dedicated team with a shared goal: happy, satisfied members.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Collaboration:
  Work closely with bakery team members, communicate effectively, and adapt to the business needs in various areas of the club.
• Expertise in Bakery Operations:
  Prepare bakery items using baking equipment, follow recipes, wrap and label products, and maintain inventory while complying with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Tech Integration:
  Utilize handheld technology to enhance productivity, manage inventory, train associates, and ensure product quality.
• Operational Excellence:
  Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure merchandise quality, manage fragile items, and minimize waste while adhering to company standards.
• Customer Experience:
  Provide exceptional service by assisting members with purchases, answering their questions, and modeling high-quality service and products.

Compensation Details

• Hourly Wage: $17.00–$24.00 (or higher based on location).
• Additional incentives include annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
• Premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply under specific circumstances.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
